Kuldipsingh Equipment N.V. ISO 9001:2000 certification

Kuldipsingh Equipment N.V. has received her ISO 9001:2000 certification on April 28th 2004 from Quality Masters Suriname (QMS). It was a memorable day according to Ing. Shailes Ramsaransing, the Quality manager. Kuldipsingh Equipment N.V. was the first transportation company ever in Suriname to get such a certification. He told our editorial staff that the process of such a certificate started in February 2003. A company must have several standards and qualifications to qualify for an ISO certificate. Fortunately the company of Kuldipsingh did not have to make many changes to apply. Only the administration had to administrate their procedures, job qualifications and demands. The employees had to be trained to become aware of the standards of an ISO certificate. Mr. Ramsaransing explained the demands because the QMS will inspect the company three times a year. If the established demands are not properly executed the company can probably loose the certificate. Mr. Ramsaransing let us know that the staff was willing to learn everything there was to learn about the process of the certification. The 26 staff members did their utmost to learn about the 26 paragraphs and the 270 fractions of the certificate. |

Expectations excel
Ramsaransing said in his speech yesterday that the ISO certificate for Kuldipsingh means that: “they say what they will do, do what they will say and can prove it too”. It also means that the company will always try to excel the expectations of the customers. “The company will maintain its current high quality level and even improve it when necessary”. The employees are always motivated to give their best. Kuldipsingh Equipment N.V. is specialised in hiring heavy equipment and vehicles with drivers or operators and transport of goods in behalf of joint companies and to third parties. The company is established on February 12th 2001 to maintain the logistic of the joint companies. After a while it appeared that the supply of the local market was big, and growing. The company had to chance from supplying own companies into helping third parties. The heavy equipment park has over 30 vehicles, with trucks, a telehandler, cranes, excavators, and flatbed trucks. Further more, Kuldipsingh Equipment N.V. is the only company in the country with four drop deck trailers. “The certificate is the end of the process”, was pointed out because the real work, according to the management, is just beginning. “Leave it to us…” is the company’s slogan and for many employees a guide in their daily business because this quality is the most important thing in the existence of Kuldipsingh Equipment N.V..
